Soraya Beheshti

Soraya Beheshti: Head of Sustainable Development.

Soraya Beheshti is an education executive with a background in anthropology and sustainability. She is passionate about the possibilities technology presents in solving major issues.

Her anthropological approach revolves around integrating sustainability throughout eco-systems and considering all stakeholders from end-to-end.

She graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University, where she worked on applications of emerging technologies to support refugee communities. As a student, she was involved with the UN on both youth and sustainability issues and conducted sustainability workshops for government entities.

Soraya has worked with refugee communities in the Middle East and Europe and conducted conservation research in the Atlantic Rainforest in Brazil.
